Shared Spaces and Shifting Contexts: A Conference on the Study of Spirituality and Spiritual Formation

November 18-19, 2021 | IN-PERSON AND ONLINE OPTIONS AVAILABLE

This conference is dedicated to initiating dialogue between scholars and practitioners of Christian spirituality and spiritual formation. This ecumenical conference examines the historic, present, and future trends of spiritual formation through the critical relationship between spirituality, spiritual formation, and practical theology. The intended audience is the scholars and formators of these distinct but interrelated disciplines. The conference format is designed to enable the plenary speakers to set the context for what promises to be robust panel discussions. This conference seeks to bring together diverse thinkers to advance the theory and practice of formation while creating opportunities for ongoing conversations, research, and partnerships.
